Break Through Berlin Winters

We are only at the halfway point (if we’re lucky) of the cold and cloudy winter weather in Berlin. The holidays are over and there’s no Christmas markets with sausages, waffles and Glühwein to look forward to. Now we are going to have to find ways to survive until the sun emerges in April.

We’ve got a few ways you can spend the remainder of your winter that will make you feel like a rockstar but on a Berliner’s budget.

At Home Spa Day

What better way to lift your spirits than giving yourself some TLC? Light some yummy smelling candles, play your favorite playlist and revitalize your skin with a Coco and Clay face mask. The hand crafted masks made with all natural and vegan ingredients including clay and coconut milk will work wonders on your skin, especially when dry skin is a concern.

Kickstart Your Music Career

Beginning February 6, on the first Wednesday of every month you can sing along side Jacu, the piano man at Monster Ronsons. His repertoire of songs include karaoke favorites from Michael Jackson, Adele, Lady Gaga and many more. They say the best singers got their career off the ground at a dark karaoke bar in Berlin…right?

Jet Set To An Island

If desperately want to be reunited with the sun you can take a weekend trip to the Spanish island of Majorca for under €5 round trip*. Although it’s not on the private jet you deserve, the flight is short enough that by the time your downloaded Netflix movie is over you won’t be able to tell the difference. You can also choose from various other destinations such as London, Budapest, Rome, Barcelona and more for under 50 euro round trip*.

*Based on availability and only on select weekends.
